Instructor FAQs

Do I get paid to teach?
H-Tech instructors are currently volunteers who contribute to our mission of free tech education. We are developing a compensation model for future cohorts and will notify instructors when this launches.
How many hours per week will I teach?
Typically 4–6 hours per week, including live classes, student Q&A, and assignment review.
What if I've never taught before?
Teaching experience is helpful but not required. We provide onboarding support and a structured curriculum framework to help new instructors succeed.
Can I teach more than one course?
Yes, after your first semester you may apply to teach additional courses in your area of expertise.
